LAUGH LABS

Laugh Labs is an Erasmus+ co-funded project that uses the power of humour to help people feel better, learn emotional skills, and reduce the shame often linked to talking about mental health. It brings adults from different ages and backgrounds together to laugh, learn, and share experiences in a safe and welcoming space. Through workshops, community activities, and research, Laugh Labs shows how humour can help us manage stress and support each other. The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme and is happening in North Macedonia, Ireland, and Italy, helping local communities learn, grow, and build emotional resilience through laughter.

Team Collaboration Meeting

Our Goals

  • Show how humour helps mental health across different ages and cultures.

  • Reduce the shame and stigma around talking about mental health using humour.

  • Create local Laugh Labs spaces in North Macedonia, Ireland, and Italy where people can learn emotional skills, manage stress, and connect with others in a positive way.

  • Share tools and knowledge so more people and organisations in Europe can use humour to support mental health in their communities.
